Catch a Crab

Cancerians are the only men who can flutter their eyelashes at somebody and get away with it. They have such a sweet, vulnerable look about them that it is almost impossible to say no. Apart from getting you to do pretty much anything for them, they also have a special way of getting information from you. Don't let this worry you though, as they are experts at keeping secrets - especially their own.
Even though they are essentially introverts, Cancerians tend to stand out from the crowd. Their slightly scruffy and dishevelled appearance usually comes across as charming and most people find their strange mannerisms and quirks endearing rather than annoying. Mr Cancer has no shortage of admirers and responds best to vivacious, self-assured women who can entertain him with their wit and passion. Once he has committed himself to a relationship though, he is the most faithful and loyal of the three water signs and definitely the marrying kind. They are actually extremely protective of their home turf and make loyal parents and friends.
Imaginative, sensitive and artistic, Cancerians are a real challenge to anyone who wants to get to know them. Like the crab that symbolizes their sign, they often present a crusty or impenetrable exterior to the world. A sweet and sensitive soul is hidden under the shell though, someone with a lot of intuition and compassion. And just like their crustacean counterparts, crabs will retreat into their shells at the first sign of trouble. Being over-sensitive and peace-loving, they tend to respond to verbal attacks by withdrawing completely until you feel so guilty that you have no option but to apologise. You shouldn't take their moods to heart though, it is only his way of hiding his vulnerability and sensitivity. Cancerian men need more security than most, whether its emotional or financial, but as soon as they have it, all they can do is worry about losing it.
When you first meet a Cancerian, it is important to show interest and start a conversation, but without being too pushy. They are usually too shy to make the first move themselves, but can be suspicious of women who make their feelings too obvious. Despite their shyness, Cancerians like the chase and you always need to retain a bit of mystery to keep his interest. Once you've got his attention and have managed to get past his defences, be prepared for a romantic adventure.
Once Mr Cancer has made up his mind, he will shower you with so many gifts and flowers that you might find it a bit overwhelming. They can be extremely generous and are only able to relax when they know for sure that they are loved and wanted in return. Being intensely sexual beings, remind him of your desire now and again by wearing sexy lingerie and seducing him with a long, sensual massage. Even when he's been a bit moody or quiet, let him know that you appreciate and cherish him and you will gain his respect.
Cancerians hate to part with anything and are especially fond of collecting antiques. They are also fascinated with the past, so a career in the antique trade or general museum work might interest them. They have a very good business sense and if they have their own business, it should be profitable and well-run. All in all, not a bad catch!
